Sunny Husband Leone's Daniel Weber a Porn Star

Sunny Leone will be seen in Jackpot opposite Sachiin Joshi. But in a new development, her husband Daniel Weber will be making his Bollywood debut in the film. One schedule of the film (with Sunny and Daniel) has been completed in Goa. He has acted in adult films earlier, and is also Sunny’s manager.

Daniel confirms his acting debut in Jackpot, “Kaizad (Gustad) asked me, and I said I will be glad to. I have shot my first scene in Jackpot and really enjoyed it. I was very pleased how professional the set-up was.” He adds that he was comfortable with the language as well. “It was not tough to speak in Hindi at all. I listen and try to speak in the language every day whenever I am in Mumbai. I had a few Hindi lines and Sunny helped me to learn them. There were some dialogues in English as well.”

He further reveals, “My role is a grey one. I have a small part of a conman in the film. It’s just a small role.” And no, he is not paired with Sunny, Sachiin plays the love interest. Daniel wants to do more similar roles, “I have been offered more films but will keep my roles small so I can focus on my music and managing Sunny.”

The couple is currently in LA training for her next action film Tina And Lolo. Daniel says, “We have been training with the Terrible Terry Norris who has been a three-time world boxing champion.

We are boxing together as we both enjoy the intense workout.”

I will not give the remake rights of Arth to anyone, Says original producer Kuljit Pal

As reports stated, Adaptation of Mahesh Bhatt's Arth directed by Pakistani actor-director Shaan (Khuda Kay Liye fame) may well become the first Indo-Pakistan film to be shot in Pakistan. Bhatt quotes reported as follows "I got a call from Shaan seeking permission to adapt the film. I informed the film's producer Kuljit Pal. Since it's not a commercial transaction but an emotional one, there's no money involved."

Surprisingly, When contacted producer Kuljit Pal he confirmed "Mr Mahesh Bhatt had sent a letter some time back to me through some office bearer. But I did not receive it, on the contrary I asked him to tell Mukesh Bhatt to call me up,I shall discuss with him. Well In my telephonic conversation with Producer Mukesh Bhatt I clearly stated I can not give the remake write to any other country. On his insistence I did tell him if at all Pakistani producer intends to remake my film Arth, He should make it in Urdu language only. I further also confirmed that if at all the film is remade in any Indian language I will be looking forward for financial gains.” He further added “However, The Bhatts’ are big people,I was shocked to read in the news papers stating that I have consented for giving away the re make rights of my film Arth. This I feel is just the high headedness of the Bhatts."

According to a leading tabloid, Mahesh Bhatt film regular Shagufta Rafique will script the film. She quoted, "As the film is going to be based in Pakistan, we will cast Pakistani girls. Apart from writing, I will also be involved in the casting of the film.'' However Pakistani actor Shaan is supposed to reprise the role of Kulbhushan Kharbanda.

Afzal Ahmed, Producer of films such as Ek Tha Raja and Mashooka too is shocked to read the article in the daily news papers he says, “I had taken the official remaking rights of the film Arth from producer Kuljit Pal in 2008, by paying an exorbitant amount. I will incur heavy losses through the infringement of the copy rights."

Maharashtra govt makes `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag` tax free

Maharashtra government has granted tax exemption to `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag`, the Farhan Akhtar starrer biopic on the legendary athlete Milkha Singh.

Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan had earlier this week met Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat and sought tax concession for the film.

The tax exemption, valid for the next six months from today, has been granted as the film`s main objective was to promote sports among youths, a Mantralaya official told reporters.

Considering this view, the government granted the exemption under section 6 (3) of the Maharashtra Entertainment Duty Act 1923 to the film, the official said.

The government also took into account the fact that the film has been co-produced by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).
Farhan plays the title role in the biopic featuring Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Prakash Raj and Pawan Malhotra.

Since its release on July 12, the film has grossed over Rs 57 crore.

Sunny Leone refuses to do hot threesome scene in Jackpot?

When a porn-star goes ahead and turns actor with A grade movies, tongues do roll. And the latest rumours ruling the roost are about Sunny Leone being asked to do a threesome with a girl and her co-star Sachiin Joshi in Kaizad Gustad’s Jackpot and that she refused to make advances at another girl though she agreed to a steam sequence with the man.

The story also talks about how Sunny admitted to being a bisexual adding that she was more attracted to men on Big Boss and how she has changed now that she has become an ‘actor’ in Bollywood.

Jackpot makers however express disdain over this rumor. Quashing the same, actor Sachiin joshi says, “Our film is about three cons outwitting one
another only to lose and win again. It is a smart game like the roulette where you don’t know where the next move will take you. There is Naseer
saab, me and Sunny in the lead. That is a threesome alright with the three of us matching our wits and that is all there is to it. But it is definitely
not in the sense that gossip-tongues wag. It is a smart and sexy con-game, albeit with its comic moments. Jackpot will showcase Sunny the actor in her myriad shades.”

Sunny Leone is currently abroad at the moment and is expected to be back to shoot for Jackpot in a week.

Gracy Singh will enact the challenging role of Amrita Devi

It’s been more than a decade that actor Gracy Singh debuted with Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster – Lagaan. And now Gracy is again set to portray a village belle in an upcoming movie Saako 363, Amrita Ki Khejadi.

The movie which is being shot in Barmer in Rajasthan is about a Bishnoi woman who fought to save flora & fauna in her village, a subject so relevant today. Gracy Singh stepped in due to her ethnic looks which is apt for the role of a Bishnoi woman, the protagonist of the film. Says Gracy, "It is an honor to fill in the huge shoes of Amrita Devi, even though it is on-screen. Apart from being a dynamic lady, I admire the way she fought against the evils in the society. The challenge which the role brings in is what excited me."

Director Kalyan Seervi said, “It is really tough to shoot in the interiors of Rajasthan & you have to travel by road most of the times. And the best part is that the actors are very supportive & co-operate well with cribbing.” The film also stars Raghubir Yadav, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Raj Premi and  Gavie Chehal. The film is jointly produced by Suraj Bishnoi & Kalyan Seervi while Kalyan Seervi is also the director & writer of the film.

Huma Qureshi droves the "Shorts" team

Experimental actress Huma Qureshi who is part of AKFPL & Tumbhi’s Shorts, an anthology of five short films, turned driver at the pre-shooting stage.

Huma plays the title role in director Shlok Sharma’s Sujata, one of the five films in Shorts. Huma recollects, “We had to shoot in Pune for a day. I sat behind the wheels and drove all our team all the way till our destination. I love driving on the highway." And what made the experience more adventurous for them is that it was raining all through the journey.

Sujata is a riveting tale of a young girl, who is struggling to come out of the clutches of her tormenting cousin brother.  Shorts will hit the marquee on 12th July 2013.

PVR Cinemas Adds Boutique Property Of 3C’s Cinemas

PVR Ltd. announced the addition of 3C’s in its portfolio of exhibition business. 3C’s, the landmark cinema property in the bustling Lajpat Nagar of South Delhi was known to be one of Delhi’s premier entertainment venues for wholesome family entertainment and food connoisseurs. Accession of a single screen of 3C’s cinemas leads PVR to have 62 screens across 18 properties in Delhi and NCR. Further it increases the PVR screen count to 383 screens in 89 cinemas and presence in 36 cities across India.

PVR plans to invest in the property and revamp 3C’s in accordance with PVR Premiere properties in grade A cities i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. The single screen cinema spread across an area of 6500 sq ft. will be upgraded with a wide array of F&B, exceptional cinema technology such as 7.1 Dolby surround sound, Digitalized Silver screens and will be 3D enabled. Satya 2 first look on Satya's 15th anniversary

Director Ram Gopal Varma is planning to release the first look of the second installment of Satya the day the cult film completes 15 years.

Satya when it was released on July 3, 1998 created history and names like Satya, Bhiku Mhatre and Kallu Mama became household names. Urmila Matondkar was also established as a serious heroine with that film.

The second instalment of Satya  called Satya 2 is slated to be a refreshing take on what the status of the underworld is today. The film which also marks the debut of some sensational newcomers will release later this year and the first look of Satya 2 is as promising as the first one.
